Disclaimers & Privacy Policy (excerpts based on the U.S. Department of State site)

The www.lifelongmontlearning website serves as an educational website dedicated to the pursuit of lifelong learning in Longmont, Colorado.  Its creation is a result of the community Education Summit, held on March 17, 2007, where over 600 residents came together to discuss the state of education in Longmont and determine community action steps towards making education a community-wide value. This website was created to allow educational agencies to post their upcoming classes and events for easy viewing by the public, as well as to allow the public easy access to volunteer opportunities available in the area of education.  The site itself is managed by the City of Longmont, but content is managed by each individual agency or author of the site. Authorship is not restricted to educational agencies, but anyone can add content to the site as long as it is polite, accurate and has a tie to education-oriented activities. Although the City of Longmont does manage the site, the site's policies are created by a Task Force of community members from across Longmont.
