St. Vrain Valley Adult Education offers educational opportunities for people over the age of 17 within the St. Vrain Valley School District. For the non-English speaking Adult Education offers English as a Second Language (ESL) classes.
Adult Education also offers literacy, basic skills development, and academic studies. All students are encouraged to pursue a high school diploma from our Adult High School.
Adult Education is dedicated to addressing the individual needs of adult learners through one-on-one instruction, scheduled classes, and ongoing teacher/student interaction. Currently there are over 800 students enrolled in both the ESL and High School Completion programs. Adult Education maintains a staff of 20 High School and ESL teachers, and 6 support staff members. In addition to the regular staff, there are approximately 45 volunteers who assist in the ESL and High School programs.
Adult Education is open to students Monday through Thursday from 10:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. (No school on Fridays). The school is open each year from late August until the end of the following July.
