The "Partnership for 21st Century Skills" developed a list of social and intellectual skills that graduates need as the economy transitions and acquires more sophistication, including innovation, creativity, information and communication technology and adaptability.   Referred to as "Route 21" or R21 for short, R21 provides an extensive database on 21st Century Skills-Related Standards, Assessments, Curriculum, Professional Development and Learning Environments.
