What are the Steps to a Successful Enrollment at FRCC?

Step 1 – Admission Apply online at www.frontrange.edu. Click “Apply Now.” Record your student ID number: S__________________ If you have any questions about qualifying for in-state tuition please call 303-678-3722.

Step 2 – Sign up for the College Opportunity Fund (COF) Sign up at www.frontrange.edu/cof. Print a copy of the confirmation for your records.

Step 3 – Apply for Financial Aid Submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online at www.fafsa.ed.gov. Processing may take up to eight weeks so apply early. The priority deadline for Fall and Summer semesters is March 1st and November 1st for the Spring semester.

Step 4 – Assessment Take the Accuplacer assessment unless you qualify for an exemption by having ACT scores (within the last 5 years) of English 18, Math 19, Reading 17, or SAT scores of English 440, Reading 430, Math 460, or other exemptions as listed in the Course Schedule. Accuplacer study guides are available at www.frontrange.edu/testing. The Testing Center is located in the Administration Building (Monday & Thursday 9:00-7:00, Tuesday & Wednesday 9:00-5:00, Fridays 9:00-4:00, and Saturdays 9:00-1:00). Please note you must begin the Accuplacer exam at least two hours prior to closing.

Step 5 – Advising Make an appointment with an advisor by calling 303-678-3722 or at the Information Desk in the Administration Building.

Step 6 – Registration Register for classes online at www.frontrange.edu or in person at the Information Desk in the Administration Building. Classes fill up quickly so register early. Make sure you authorize your COF stipend online, at the Information Desk, or by calling 303-678-3722. Check the important deadlines listed in the Course Schedule (e.g. the last day to drop a course with a refund).

Step 7 – Pay for your classes Pay tuition and fees online or in person by the payment deadline. If you have registered after the Payment Deadline listed in the Course Schedule you must pay in full or make payment arrangements with the FACTS Deferred Payment Plan within 24 hours of registering or you may lose your place in your classes. Refer to the Course Schedule for information on FACTS. If you expect to receive financial aid it is your responsibility to make sure payment is arranged before the payment deadline.

Step 8 – New Student Orientation Please call 303-678-3722 to sign up for the orientation for the semester you are planning to attend.

Step 9 – Wolf Card & Student Handbook Planner Go to Student Life in the Classroom Building to purchase your Wolf Card (student ID card) for $5.00 and to pick-up your free student handbook planner.

Step 10 – Books & Supplies Purchase books and supplies for your classes at the bookstore located in the Classroom Building.

Step 11 – Activate your free student email account Activate your email account by following the instructions at www.frontrange.edu/email.

Step 12 – Attend classes and have a successful semester
