Human beings are part of nature, which is to say, they are part of the universe.
Psyche partakes of both matter and spirit, and our normal consciousness is a capacity that has come to be and has grown with the passing of time. This course will follow and make clear the discoveries of Carl Gustav Jung. Science typically denies the spirit, but a fuller science, with which Jung agrees, includes not only spirit, but the whole intimate relationship of psyche and universe as well. We will explore Jung’s view of the structure of the psyche and its relationship to the rest of the cosmos.

Your instructor, John Hitchcock Ph.D. will include literature and poetry as tools by which the course will acquaint you with Jung’s psychology.
